It's good to take a break from city life to surround yourself with nature. there are over 10 trails for you to choose from, ranging from beginner-friendly to 3 hour hikes. Your effort will be worth it though, as these trails lead to secluded beaches, swamps, and cliffs overlooking said beaches.

Nestled in the very centre of Kuching, the Borneo Cultures Museum stands proudly with 5 floors of artefacts representing Sarawak's traditional heritage. The museum also features an exhibition highlighting the relationship between local communities and the environment.

Carpenter Street is attached to Ewe Hai Street, one of the city's oldest roads, where the culture is rich and the history even richer. There's so much to see and experience here, including Chinese houses from the 19th century, Chinese temples, and local cuisine.

Kuching Cat Museum is reputed as the world's first cat museum dedicated to the feline. It boasts more than 4000 artefacts displayed in four different galleries.

The Kuching waterfront is a scenic promenade along the Sarawak River, where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll, admire the views, watch the boats, and catch the sunset. The waterfront is also home to some of the city's landmarks, such as the Darul Hana Bridge, the Floating Mosque, the Astana and Fort Margherita.

The focal point for the entire Chinese community in Kuching, and the oldest temple in the city, this temple serves as a major tourist attraction.
