Pre-Arrival & Visa Planning

  • Short Visits (Check-ups/Consultation): No. Most international patients enter on a standard Social Visit Pass (Tourist Visa).
  • Long-Term Treatment (>30 Days): If you require intensive treatment (e.g., Oncology, Heart Surgery), we can assist you in applying for a Medical e-Visa through the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC).

  • Yes, via the MHTC Meet & Greet Service at KLIA (Terminal 1 or 2).
  • How to book: You must request this at least 3 working days in advance via our International Patient Centre.
  • What happens: An MHTC officer will meet you at the aerobridge and guide you through the dedicated medical lane, allowing you to skip the long tourist queues.

  • Valid Passport (6+ months validity).
  • Printed Medical Reports & X-Rays (in English).
  • Appointment Confirmation Letter (Digital or Printed).
Arrival in Kuala Lumpur (Airport Logistics)

  • Distance: ~60 km.
  • Travel Time: 50–70 minutes by car (traffic can be heavy entering the city).

  • KLIA (Terminal 1): Level 1, Door 3 or 4.
  • KLIA 2 (Terminal 2): Level 1, Transportation Hub (follow signs for "E-Hailing").
  • Note: Do not wait at the Arrival Hall (Level 3/Level 2); you must go down to the transportation level.

We do not have a scheduled shuttle. We recommend using Grab (most convenient) or the KLIA Ekspres Train to KL Sentral, then taking a taxi to the hospital (approx. 20 mins from KL Sentral).

Go specifically to the Health Screening Centre at Block B, Level 5.

  • Please fast (no food, only plain water) for 8–10 hours before your appointment.
  • Results: If screening is completed by 11:00 AM, the doctor will usually review the results with you by 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM the same day.
Insurance, Payment & Costs

  • Yes. We partner with Cigna, Aetna, Bupa, Henner, International SOS, and many others.
  • Procedure: Visit the International Patient Lounge (IPL) Block A, Level 6 upon arrival to present your Guarantee Letter (GL).

  • Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) only.
  • Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and UnionPay are accepted.

  • Single Room: ~RM263 per night.
  • Single Executive: ~RM399 per night.
  • 2-Bedded Room: ~RM168 per night.
  • 4-Bedded Room: ~RM105 per night.
  • Presidential Suite: ~RM3990 per night.
